Cultural Competence in real estate can be a confusing topic. Many say “I treat everyone the same” or “I treat people the way I want to be treated.” That can be a problem. What is the standard we are using? Where and how did we define that?

In this lively course, participants will actively explore how we experience culture and how culture influences real estate. NewYork State requires us to understand cultural norms, preferences, and challenges within our diverse communities. This course is specifically designed to equip real estate professionals with the skills to navigate any cross-cultural encounter in their business.
